Speed And Agility Clinic

Price:$250 for 10 workouts
Led by Jim Bose, MLB and MiLB strength and conditioning coach from 2010-2013 including MiLB Strength and Conditioning Coach of the year in 2011 and member of the 2012 World Series San Francisco Giants, the Speed and Agility camp is designed to improve the overall athleticism of each athlete. Athletes will be tested day 1 to establish a baseline for several metrics: speed, quickness, lower body explosion, and upper body explosion. Over the course of the clinic, athletes will be taken through speed, agility, and plyometric workouts to improve foot speed, side to side quickness and explosive movements. On the last day of the clinic athletes will be tested on the same drills as day 1 to see the improvements made over the course of the clinic.
Advanced Hitting Clinic

Looking for an edge in the batters’ box? NSBA’s advanced hitting clinic is exactly what you need. Designed with a focus on the finer details of hitting this clinic will improve each hitters ability to use all fields and hit breaking and off speed pitches. In addition to cage work, there will be class room work dedicated to the mental aspects of hitting like situational hitting and overall approach at the plate. Each student should bring their batting gloves, bat, helmet and be ready for hands-on training. Clinics are kept at a 5:1 student to coach ratio or better.
Fundamentals Clinic

6-9 years old

Times:NSBA VH: 4:30pm-5:30pm, NSBA HP: 1:00-2:00pm
Location:NSBA VH on Wednesday nights, NSBA HP on Sunday afternoons

Our Fundamentals clinic is designed to introduce the fundamentals of baseball to beginner or younger players. Through the use of routine movements and drills players will learn the building blocks of successful hitters, fielders, and pitchers. Each student should bring their gloves, bats, helmets and batting gloves. Clinics are kept at a 5:1 student to coach ratio or better.
Hitting Clinic

Our hitting clinic is designed to build the foundation to make each player a successful hitter.  Through the use of hitting drills, tee work, front toss, and live pitching, each player will begin to ingrain the correct muscle memory for proper swing mechanics. Other topics to be covered: stance and set-up, swing path, lower body movements.  Each student should bring their batting gloves, bat, helmet and be ready for hands-on training. Clinics are kept at a 5:1 student to coach ratio or better.
Pitching Clinic

Session 4:VH: 2/19-3/19 , HP: 2/18-3/18
Times:NSBA VH: 5:00pm-6:00pm, NSBA HP: 6:30pm-7:30pm

Our pitching clinic is focused on developing the proper pitching mechanics for young pitchers.  Each player will be taken through three building blocks of pitching - balance, power, and finish. Pitchers will use drills and throw off the mound to build muscle memory of proper pitching mechanics.  Other topics include: grips, balks, and pick off moves.  Each student should bring their glove and be ready to pitch. Clinics are kept at a 5:1 student to coach ratio or better.
